It would be nice if there was some indication of battery status, I know this would come at the expense of some battery life but as it is there is no indication, the lite doesn't even dim, at least not noticeably. When the battery gets weak the light just suddenly starts blinking on and off which is very distracting and makes it completely unusable until the battery is changed or charged. Other than that, it is a great flashlight, it is very bright, easy to use and has a handy design
